Howard Johnson by Wyndham Lubbock TX

I loved how nice the staff was and how clean the rooms were. The beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s in a great spot around plenty of fast food restaurants and just a block away from a grocery store. Location is convenient. I would absolutely recommend this place, and I will be staying here again

Great experience. Staff very friendly. Rooms super clean. Clean towels everyday. Laundry room on site. Rooms cozy. The bed and sheets very comfy. Table and couch inside the room. Plus, microwave and small fridge. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is an inexpensive hotel with a super friendly staff and funky, retro decor (70s vibe). Rooms and general areas were very clean, beds were very comfortable, and everything was in working order. Bathrooms have tubs (not just a shower), which is great for relaxing after a long day of driving. Pleasant, comfortable place for an affordable price. We'll be staying again.

I booked this hotel because it was very economical - what I needed at this point. The room was acceptable - but you could tell there was wear and tear. Iron burn in the carpet, only one bedside table for the queen bed, the sprinkler system nozzle was surrounded by paper towels crammed into the ceiling, carpet did not appear clean or vacuumed, lamp on the desk was missing a bulb. Pretty sure the sheets were clean - but not crisp and obviously clean. The staff when I checked in was very helpful - the other days I had no interaction to rate. Breakfast was minimal - but workable.

We had an excellent accessible room, fully accessible. Comfy bed, good A/C, fridge, roll in shower, clean. Manager was helpful and gave us extra towels, plenty of ice. Breakfast was waffles, hard biscuits, thin gravy, toast, cereal, bananas, juice. Overall, a good value. Will stay again.

Not sure why there are so many terrible reviews? I slept great! My room was large and clean and cold. Yes the building is dated and the breakfast might not be worth getting up for (but come on, are they ever really?), but for the price and easy access to the highway, it’s a perfect road trip stop. The front desk people were also very nice.

This place is actually really nice, the room was absolutely spotless. I honestly think this is the cleanest hotel I've been in. It could use a little remodel, but besides that, it was actually really nice. The front desk attendant was very nice as well. He was very patient and courteous. I would definitely reserve a room here again. The pillows are amazing, for me anyway. I love a good hard pillow.

They were just in perfect location! The price was great, the room was clean & roomy! Everything was fabulous! Next time I'm staying there when in the neighborhood!
